Handmade ceramics

Welcome to my little pottery house

Stoneware mugs, bowls and cups, raised one at a time. Sharing pieces, practice and process as I go.

How we work

Clay, time, and your own hands shaping the process.

Every piece is built by hand, without moulds. That is why no two come out alike: a rim that sits a little differently, a glaze that runs where it wants, a fingerprint left in the clay.

We fire high, so the pots are tough enough for everyday use and safe in the dishwasher.

Pieces

Out of the kiln

A selection of what has been fired so far. Pieces go quickly — if something catches your eye, message us on Instagram and we will tell you what is still available or make something close to it for you.

Award

The set that won the DAVA art contest

Three cups under the same running glaze, fired together. The glaze gathers into droplets along the rim and stops itself just before it reaches the foot.

Process

From a lump to a cup

A few minutes from the studio: trimming, pinching, finishing.

Trimming a set of stackable cups
A matcha bowl pinched entirely by hand
From a lump of clay to a finished mug

Workshops

Come and make your own mug

Hands-on pottery workshops for beginners. No experience needed — just a willingness to get your hands dirty.

Indoor workshop

From Mud to Mug

A hands-on workshop where you shape your own mug, from a lump of clay to a finished piece. We show you the technique, you decide the form. We fire and glaze it afterwards, then it is yours.

  • Beginner friendly, no experience needed
  • Clay, tools and materials included
  • Firing and glazing done after the session

Workshops at Baraka

Sessions hosted outside at Baraka, with Piatra Craiului in view. Long tables, string lights and clay. We run them as events — Matcha & Clay, Baraka LIVE — and for private groups.

  • Groups, parties and private events
  • Works well for children too
  • We can bring the workshop to your venue

Studio

Pieces, practice and process

Solid Ceramic House is a small studio. We work in short runs, test glazes, keep what comes out well and start the rest again.

Everything shown here went through our own kiln. If you want something specific — a coffee set, a commission for a gift — let's talk.
